The Serenity Standard
Serenity is a full-time, year-round Everglades guide service for fly and light-tackle anglers. Every day is built around your skill, outlook and objectives—not a canned route.
One or two anglers fish from a purpose-built poling skiff. Larger groups and corporate trips are coordinated with Ren’s trusted guide network for parties of eight or more.
Remote mangrove country, blackwater creeks and open flats.
Snook, redfish and tarpon on fly or carefully presented tackle.
Your day is personally run by Captain Ren Stanley.
What swims when
There is no off-season here—only a change in water, weather and opportunity.

Big snook and reds crush flies and surface baits all day long.

Big snook and reds remain deep in the backcountry as giant migratory tarpon arrive to feed.

Snook fishing is phenomenal, but this is prime time for the giant migratory fish.

Consistent snook with shots at juvenile and adult tarpon. Ren’s favorite time of year.

Breaking temperatures stimulate the bite, with strong numbers of reds in the fall.

Snook and reds push backcountry. Poppers and big jerkbaits shine, with tarpon still viable.

Hunting and fishing—especially fly fishing—have shaped Ren’s life since childhood. He began fishing Everglades National Park at age ten and learned to navigate its water long before GPS became a crutch.
A combat veteran who served four years on active duty in the U.S. Army, Ren later earned a Bachelor of Science from Kennesaw State University and returned to the work he was built for: guiding people from around the world through the serenity of the Everglades.
“The fellowship, the fish and the passion of a pure pursuit provide the right mixture for a truly unique experience.”— Ren

Ren previously designed and hand-built three elite poling skiffs from modern composites. That builder’s understanding still shapes how he rigs, runs and fishes his Maverick today.

Before you go
Trips are built for one or two anglers. Ren supplies premium fly and light-tackle gear, hand-tied flies, leaders and lures. Cooler, water and ice are aboard; bring food and weather-appropriate clothing.
A Florida fishing license is not required when fishing with a licensed and insured charter captain. Everglades National Park may require a park pass; purchase one here.
